WOMEN

In India, although the women are venerated as Goddess but in reality, they are vulnerable in the male-dominated society. This vulnerability proliferates for those women who come from the socio-economically underprivileged communities. Especially the women prisoners who are in the prison or released from the prison find it immensely challenging to align themselves in the civil society. VARHAD attempts to empower them by organizing various Vocational training programmes and skill development programmes for them to seek a meaningful livelihood opportunity and live a distinguished life in the society.
